Terms and Conditions

Treatment is offered to all people subject to the following:

1. Treatment fees are payable for all treatment/work given or received whether treatment is given or received in our surgeries, in the patient's home or some other location agreed between the Podiatrist and the patient or
the patients' guardian.

2. No credit will be given, fees are due at the time treatment is given or received.

3. Fees may vary according to the treatment given or received. Normally a fee is due for the type of treatment given or received and for the time that treatment takes, therefore, if you receive treatment which is more highly skilled and/or takes longer than expected to give you may be charged more money.

4. Fees may be charged for extra services given or received and items/products used during your treatment, this may include dressings, anaesthetics, bandages, insoles, orthoses, medicaments, foot-care products,
assessment and advice, etc. - this list should not be considered exclusive (it does not cover everything or every eventuality).

5. We shall not discriminate against you due to any disability you may have.

6. We shall treat you with the same respect, professional care and professional conduct as anyone else regardless of your sex, age, race, creed, sexuality, disability, or profession.

7. We reserve the right not to treat you and to withdraw treatment at any time in accordance with the rules and codes of conduct of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and the Health Practitioners Council (formerly CPSM).
 

Normal hours of treatment are between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, however, occasionally we may offer to see you earlier or later, on Sundays and bank holidays at our discretion. Appointments are mutually agreed between yourselves and us in advance, upon acceptance of the appointment you are legally bound to keep the appointment subject to the following:

Appointments - booking

1. You may book a surgery or domiciliary appointment by telephoning your nearest surgery, for details click here.

2. We do not accept bookings by email - appointments must be made by telephone. You may contact us by email however, we cannot be held responsible for any delay in responding to you if you choose to contact us
in this way.


Appointments - cancellation of, postponement of and missed

1. You may postpone, cancel or re-arrange your appointment without penalty up to 24 hours before your appointment except when your appointment is on a Sunday or a Monday, in which case you must notify us by 5pm the previous Friday by telephoning the surgery you have made the booking with, we do not accept notification by email in any circumstances. Failure to notify us by telephone, within these limits, will result in you being charged the full appointment fee.

2. You will be expected to pay for all postponed, cancelled or missed appointments (as defined in previous paragraph) within 7 days of the date of failure to attend or cancellation or postponement.

3. You may not use our services again until any outstanding fees have been paid.

4. If you have not paid any outstanding fees within 21 days we reserve the right to refer your account to a debt collection agency or to the small claims court.
